Film Capacity Building Workshop 2022

As a leading national organization committed to creating safe space where adolescents and youths' talents are nurtured, LVDAH has partnered with Kenya Film Commission to undertake Film Capacity Building Workshop on basic film making skills from 5th to 10th December 2022 targeting 100 adolescents' and young people in Homa-Bay county.

The program will develop effective advocacy tools for women and youth for self-reliant creative entrepreneurship, through the creative arts.

The beneficiaries will learn basic film making skills in film production, directing and producing, screenwriting, acting, editing and cinematography to develop creative solutions to social justice issues, gender, inequalities, economic disparity, youth unemployment and women empowerment.

Both experienced and aspiring filmmakers are invited.

Registration process will close on 30th N0vember 2022.

To equip aspiring filmmakers with effective advocacy tools to develop creative solutions, LVDAH is inviting like-minded stakeholders who share similar values to partner with in implementing the program. We are targeting 100 young talented people in the region to benefit from the December 5th-10th training.
